Once sold, every extra stays tied to the ticket it was bought with. It is not scanned separately: at the entrance staff scan the ticket as usual and the scanner shows which extras to hand over. Here you find what staff see, when entry is refused, how refunds and resale work and which documents remain your responsibility.

At a glance

  • Where: Nightify Business app, ticket scanner; there is no separate screen for extras.
  • Permissions: Manage access and entries to scan, as for tickets.
  • What you get: at the entrance, the list of the ticket’s extras, which are marked as Used.
  • Refunds: only Nightify staff perform them, extra by extra, according to the rule you set.

Before you start

  • Organize the handover: the scanner tells you what each ticket is entitled to, but you manage the physical handover (drinks, locker, shuttle).
  • Make sure whoever scans uses the Nightify Business app with the correct event and titles selected.

At the entrance, step by step

  1. Scan the ticket as usual. What you see: with the Success result, the message Access confirmed. and, after a blank line, one line per extra in the format quantity × name · status, for example 2 × Welcome drink · Used.
  2. Hand over the extras shown as Used. An extra that has already been refunded appears as Refunded: do not hand it over.
  3. No other action. Result: the entry is recorded and, in the same operation, the ticket’s non-refunded extras switch to Used; the fan sees this in their reservation.

What happens next

  • Refunds. If a fan asks for a refund of an extra, Nightify staff assess it as an item separate from the ticket: refunding the ticket does not refund its extras, and vice versa. The extra is not refundable if the rule is Non-refundable, if the Refund deadline has passed (this applies whatever the rule) or if it has already been used and the rule is Only when unused. With Including used units it remains refundable even after entry, up to any deadline.
  • Refunded amount. It corresponds to your share: Nightify fees on the extra remain excluded, as for tickets. The extra becomes Refunded only when the payment provider confirms the operation.
  • Resale. When a ticket is sold on resale, its extras pass to the new holder together with the ticket; the amounts paid for the extras stay recorded on the original order, where they appear as Transferred with the ticket.
  • Totals. The amounts of the extras are part of the financial totals of the order and of the event calculated by Nightify; the console has no dedicated list of the extras sold.

  • Fees on extras are set by Nightify and cannot be changed by the organizer.
