On-Site Ticketing queries the printer before every ticket and tells you exactly what is wrong. The badge at the top of the Ticket printing section sums up the status; the detail below it already contains the fix. When the status is a warning or an error, the Workstation setup panel also opens by itself.

At a glance

  • Where: On-Site Ticketing tab → Ticket printing section; while printing, the messages also appear next to Print new tickets.
  • Permissions: the same as for the on-site sale.
  • What you get: the exact cause of the problem; once you have fixed it press Refresh printers.

Before you start

  • Keep the printer switched on, connected and visible from the desk: many messages require a physical intervention.
  • If several conditions appear together, they are listed in the order in which it is best to fix them.

Step by step

  1. Read the badge and the detail in the Ticket printing section.
  2. Fix the cause by following the tables below.
  3. Press Refresh printers. Confirmation: the Printer verified and ready badge.
  4. Resume the sale or the printing from where you were.

Special cases

  • The badge goes back to ready but printing stops: the check is repeated before every ticket, so a new condition (for example media running out halfway through an order) stops printing at the next ticket.
  • The text does not fit: the page never truncates the data and never goes below a character height of 2 mm.

Rules and limits

  • The page reads the status from the printer but does not adjust it: calibration and settings stay on the printer.
  • The selected format must match the loaded media: the page cannot check it.
