On-Site Ticketing is the console page you use to sell the tickets of a SIAE event on site, on behalf of a customer, and print them straight away on thermal paper. The customer pays at the desk: Nightify records the order as paid with payment collected on site, issues the SIAE fiscal tickets and sends them one at a time to the Zebra printer connected to the desk computer through the Zebra Browser Print program. Everything happens on a single page, without going through the public checkout.
At a glance
- Where: in the event dashboard, among the header tabs, right after SIAE report: the On-Site Ticketing tab. The page is titled On-Site Ticketing for event #… (browser tab: On-Site Ticketing).
- Which events: only events with SIAE ticketing. For other events the tab does not appear. To sell without printing, on any event, use Add reservation.
- Permissions: you need all three: View events, Manage event reservations and Manage ticketing. Among the predefined roles only Administrator has them; otherwise you need a custom role that includes them.
- What you get: an order in the customer’s name with the Business platform, already confirmed and paid, and the SIAE tickets printed in the 10 × 5 cm, 10 × 10 cm or 10 × 15 cm format.
- Workstation: a Windows or macOS computer with Zebra Browser Print running, Chrome or Edge and a Zebra printer connected over USB or on the Ethernet network.
Before you start
- The event must have SIAE ticketing active: in the Add tickets step, for the question Does the event require SIAE ticketing?, the SIAE option must be selected.
- You need purchasable access titles: availability, capacity and sales period apply as in an online sale. Access titles with the Hidden status do not appear.
- Your account must be a member of the event’s organization, with a role that has the three permissions listed above.
- Prepare the workstation once by following Setting up the workstation and the Zebra printer, and load the media and the ribbon into the printer.
Step by step
- Open the dashboard of the SIAE event from the organization console. What you see: the event tabs at the top; if you have the permissions, after SIAE report you find On-Site Ticketing.
- Print queue: You can sell without a printer. Sales made by your account stay queued and print automatically when the printer is ready, while this page is open.
- Sell and print. Result: follow Selling and printing tickets with On-Site Ticketing.

Messages and errors
| Message | Why it appears | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 404 page with Your account does not have access to this resource. | Your account is not a business account or you do not have View events for the event’s organization. | Ask an Administrator to invite you or to update your role. |
| 404 page with no further explanation | Manage event reservations or Manage ticketing is missing, or the event does not have SIAE ticketing. | Check the role and the event; for a non-SIAE event use Add reservation. |
| The new on-site order is not available for this workstation. | You opened an address with an order code that is not an on-site order of this event. | Check the order code and return to the event’s On-Site Ticketing page. |
Special cases
- The tab does not appear on a SIAE event: your role is missing one of the three permissions; the tab is only shown to those who can actually sell.
- Several desks for the same event: each computer uses its own printer and its own Browser Print. The print queue shows unfinished orders created by your account.
- Nightify staff: Nightify staff can open the page for any SIAE event and consult the print logs recorded by the workstations.
Rules and limits
- Payment is always collected on site: the page does not accept cards or online payments.
- Only SIAE fiscal tickets with a complete issue are printed; the page has no reprint function.
- Printing only works from the browser of the computer on which Zebra Browser Print is running.
