A published event can be edited at any time, but fans will continue to see the latest approved version until the edits pass Nightify's review. Each save in the editor writes a draft snapshot separate from the online version: you can work on it calmly and send it when it's ready.
At a glance
- Where: live event list → Options menu → Edit, or event dashboard → Edit event tab or Continue editing draft button in the status card.
- Permissions: Manage events (and Manage ticketing for tickets and map).
- What you get: a draft of the changes you send with Publish Changes; upon approval it replaces the public version, upon rejection it remains in draft with the reason.
- What does not pass through the verification: suspension and reactivation of the publication, which immediately affect the online version.
Step by step on the website
- Open the event for editing. From the list of live events, press the three dots Options in the row and choose Edit, or open View and in the dashboard use the Edit event tab. What you see: the editor Create or modify event with the data from the online version (or from the draft already started).
- Edit the necessary steps (Event page, Add tickets, Edit seat map, Publish). Each save updates the draft snapshot. What you see in the dashboard: the Draft under editing banner with Changes will remain in draft status until they are sent for review and approved by an administrator., the Event Status line with Approved — Changes in draft and the Last updated and Updated by lines.
- Send for verification. In the Publish step (header Your event is already online, text The event is already online. Save the changes to publish them immediately.) press Publish changes; the same button is at the bottom of Event page and Add tickets and in the status card of the dashboard. Result: the banner becomes Changes under review with Verification may take up to 12 hours. You will receive an email when the review is complete., the status is Approved — Changes in review and the editor freezes.
- Wait for the outcome. Receive the email Change of event status: ... Upon approval, the new version goes online. If the changes are rejected, the banner shows Changes rejected and the line Reason for rejection: with the explanation: correct in the editor and press Publish changes again.

What you cannot change with active sales
- The name, price, sales opening option, sales start and end date are blocked on tickets with reservations already registered: It is not possible to modify this field because sales are already present. If you need different conditions, create a new ticket.
- With active reservations, the BA code and the SIAE category are also blocked, with the same message.
- The seat map cannot be modified or removed: It is not possible to modify or remove the seat map because the event already has associated bookings.
Messages and errors

Special cases
- Do you want to discard the changes. On the status card, press Delete draft snapshot and confirm Are you sure you want to delete the draft snapshot? The operation cannot be cancelled.: the online version remains unchanged. The button is only there as long as the most recent snapshot is in draft.
- You only changed the images. Use Publish images only: the main, square and gallery images are revised without complete validation.
- You must hide the event immediately. No modification is needed: use Pause publishing in the Options menu, which takes effect immediately without verification.
- You change the date or location with tickets already sold. The changes still undergo verification; notify buyers and, for cancellations or refunds, contact Nightify support, which is the only one who can process them.
Rules and limits
- The public version does not change until the snapshot is approved.
- With registered sales, the name, price, opening and sales dates of the titles involved, BA code, SIAE category and seat map remain blocked.
- Sending to verification uses a consistency check on the version of the snapshot: if someone modifies in the meantime, the operation is rejected.
