An event always starts as a Draft and goes online only after verification by Nightify. The creation path is guided in steps, each with automatic saving: you can stop and resume whenever you want, and multiple team members can work on it, but one at a time.
At a glance
- Where: Create event button (in the navigation bar or in the Create a new event card of the console) → choice of organization on the Organizations page → Create or edit event editor (nightify.me/business/eventsubmit/id/details).
- Permissions: Manage events in the chosen organization (among the predefined roles only Administrator); for the step Add tickets and the map you need to Manage ticketing.
- What you get: a draft with four steps, saved as you work, which you send for review with Publish event.
- Time: Nightify verification takes a maximum of 12 hours (Verification may take up to 12 hours. You will receive an email when the review is complete.).
Before you start
- Log in with your full profile and are part of an organization with the Manage events permission. If you don't have an organization, Create event takes you to create one (see Create an organization).
- Have ready: title and description, start and end date and time, address of the venue, at least one image (it is mandatory to publish), the list of admission tickets with prices and quantities and, if you use the SIAE ticket office, the permit data (BA code) plus the complete tax profile and verified telephone number.
Step by step on the website
- Start creation. Press Create event in the navigation bar. What you see: the Organizations page in chosen mode: each organization is a button and at the top is Create new organization. Tap the organization that will sign the event. If you start from an organization's console, the Create a new event card (Generate an event and customize details, tickets and publication in a few minutes.) with the Create event button skip the choice and create the draft immediately.
- The draft is created. What you see: the Create or edit event page opened on the Event page step. In the Edit event sidebar there are the steps Event page, Add tickets, Edit seat map (appears only after assigning a structured seat map, not for the automatically generated single seat map) and Publish, each with the status Completed, Current step or Not started; above you will find the Show Preview link and the Go to block with Event Dashboard.
- Complete the Event Page. Sections Add event image, Event overview (title and summary), Event date, Time zone, Event location, Highlights and Frequently asked questions (details in Complete the event page). Finish with Save and continue.
- Add tickets. Reply to Does the event require a SIAE ticket office? in the SIAE Configuration section, create the titles in Create Tickets & Access Tickets (Free or Paid), check them in Tickets added to the event, set the Event capacity (Commercial capacity, Unlimited capacity for registrations and accreditations, SIAE capacity (as per permit)) and reply to Do you need a seat map for this event? in Seat map. Finish with Save and continue.
- Complete the Publish step. What you see: the header Your event is almost ready to publish (Review your settings and allow everyone to find your event.) and the Event type and category sections (Main category, Secondary category), Organized by (Your organization, with the link View or edit organizer information), Is your event public or private? (Public - Shared on Nightify and search engines, Private - Shared only with a selected audience, Private with password - Access allowed only after verifying password with the Password field event), Tag, Artist Lineup and Pixel tracking code.
- Send for verification. Press Publish event. If data is missing, the There are problems with your event box appears above the button with a message for each problem and a button (Fix or a specific action) that takes you to the point to fix. Result: the event changes to the Understanding state, the editor freezes and you receive the email Event status change: ... at each subsequent status change.
Autosave
- Each step saves itself as you work: next to the save button see Saving..., then Saved or Saved (to be completed) if the mandatory data for the step is missing. Error indicates that the last save failed; for the location not yet chosen from the suggestions, Select a location from the suggestions to save it appears.
- Save and continue save and move on to the next step; from the sidebar you return to any step at any time.
- The Publish event buttons (and, for an event already online, Publish changes and Publish images only) are also present at the bottom of the Event page and Add tickets steps, not only in Publish.
Controls that block publishing

What happens next
- The event dashboard displays the Event in verification banner with Verification may take up to 12 hours. You will receive an email when the review is complete.; members with the notifications permission receive Event sent for verification.
- If you open the editor during review, read It is not possible to make changes because the event is under review. It will be reviewed as soon as possible and you will receive an email. To correct something use Cancel verification and return to draft in the status card: the confirmation is Verification cancelled. The event is back in draft.
- Upon approval, the event becomes Approved and the public page goes online; in case of refusal it returns to the draft with the Reason for refusal: in the dashboard.
Resume a draft
- From the console, open the live events: the draft has the status Draft in the Status column.
- In the Options menu of the row (icon with the three dots) choose Edit: the Event page step reopens. Alternatively, open View and, in the dashboard, use the Edit event tab or the Continue editing the draft button in the status card (Draft event banner).
Messages and errors
| Message | Why it appears | What to do |
|---|---|---|

| Your user does not have access to this resource. | Your role does not have Manage events (or Manage ticketing for the ticket step). | Ask an Administrator. |
| Event already being edited | Another member has the editor open on the same event. | See Exclusive editing: only one editor at a time. |
| The autosave request failed with status … | The autosave received an error from the server (network or session). | Check the connection, reload the page and verify that the data has been saved. |

Special cases
- Recurring format. Instead of starting from scratch, use Duplicate in the Options menu of an existing event: copy page, images, cards and settings into a new draft.
- Event with numbered seats. In the Add tickets step, choose a seat map: from that moment the Edit seat map step appears.
- Private event. With Private or Private with password the page can only be reached with the link (and, in the second case, with the Event password) and does not appear in searches.
Rules and limits
- Each event belongs to an organization and is born as a Draft; it goes online only after approval.
- Only one user can edit the same event at a time.
- The creation of the draft is recorded in the Change history of the event with the creation operation.
