Two pieces of information from the map have effects outside the editor: the seat order code of every element, which identifies the sector in the data of the tickets and in validation, and the capacity, calculated from the map and used to limit sales. You do not type any code: you choose a typology and the system composes the code.

- The capacity: with a structured map it is the sum of the seats of the sectors, the seats of the tables and the capacities of the areas; it is read-only, like the SIAE capacity (as per permit).

Step by step to set the codes
- Open the card of the element in the sidebar (Areas, Tables, Sections groups). What you see: the Seat order select already set on the default typology: Settore (S) for the sectors, Poltronissima (M) for the tables, Parterre (R) for the areas.
- Choose the typology that matches the venue, for example Platea (PT) or Galleria (H). Result: the code is composed and saved straight away, and the name of the element becomes the typology followed by the code (for example Galleria HA). If the base code is already in use, the system moves to the first free variant.
- Repeat for every element that sells seats. The stage has no seat order.
- Check at publication. If an element had a missing or non-compliant code, publication stops with Seat order codes must be 2 alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9). Update: … followed by the list of the elements, with the Select seat map button: reopen the editor and select the typology again.
Capacity, step by step
- Draw the elements. Every sector contributes rows × columns, every table its Seats, every area its Capacity.
- Read the total in the Add tickets step: the Commercial capacity is filled in and locked with the note When an assigned seat map is present, capacity is calculated automatically from the seats drawn on the map. and, hovering over the field, Field locked: with an assigned seat map, capacity is calculated automatically from the seats drawn on the map. Edit the seat map to update capacity. Unlimited capacity is disabled too.
- To change it edit the elements in the editor (rows, columns, seats, capacity of the area): the total updates by itself.
Fields and options

What happens next
- The quantity of every linked access title is compared with the capacity of the element: if it exceeds it, publication reports The access type quantity (N) exceeds the seat map element capacity (M).; this is a different check from The available quantity exceeds the event capacity., which compares the quantity with the capacity of the whole event.
- If you change rows, columns, seats or capacity of an element that has rates assigned, the editor offers to update the quantity of the linked access titles.
Messages and errors

Special cases
- A single area with Posto unico (UN). The map is not considered structured: capacity does not come from the map and stays the one entered by hand in the step; the side step Edit seat map does not appear.
- You want two stalls sectors. Platea (PT) exists only once per map: for the second one use another typology, for example Poltrona (O) or Settore (S).
- Elements with different prices but the same typology. The code is distinct anyway (SA, SB…): prices depend on the assigned access titles, not on the code.
Rules and limits
- The codes are generated and made unique by the system: you cannot type them or duplicate them.
- With reservations recorded the map, the codes and the capacity can no longer be changed.
- A finite capacity does not force you to use a map: the check is triggered only if you explicitly chose the option with a map.
