Reservation history

The Reservation history on the website lists, in chronological order, creation, payment, completed refunds, resales and name changes. How to read it, all the entries and notes you may find, what it does not show and who can order refunds and cancellations.

The Reservation history section of the detail (Timeline of payments, refunds, resale and ticket-holder name changes linked to this reservation.) is the record of what happened to the order. It is the right place to find out whether a refund has been completed or a resale has gone through.

At a glance

  • Where: website only, in the Reservation detail (My accountView reservations), for any reservation status.
  • What it shows: each entry with date and time, coloured by outcome, plus the summary badges next to the title.
  • Read only: no operation is started from here.

Step by step

  1. Open the Reservation detail and scroll to Reservation history.
  2. Read the entries from the top: if there is nothing yet, There is no activity in the history yet. appears.

The entries you may find

EntryMeaning
Reservation created, Payment completedCreation of the order and confirmation of the payment. For old orders the note The previous history does not contain the exact payment time; the displayed date is an estimate based on the available data. may appear.
Refund completed with Amount: …Refund carried out by Nightify. Nightify fees excluded from the refund: …, Reservation items: … (the tickets involved) and The refund is verified, but the provider history cannot attribute it to individual tickets. may appear.
Ticket listed for resale, Ticket resale cancelled, Ticket sold, Ticket bought on resale, Resale requires reviewThe stages of a ticket’s resale.
Ticket-holder name change requested, Ticket-holder name change is being finalized, Ticket-holder name changed, Ticket-holder name change failed, Ticket-holder name change requires reviewThe stages of a change of holder; for privacy they do not show the new holder’s name.
Administrative review requiredAn operation must be checked manually by support: do not repeat it and wait.

What it does not show

  • Refund attempts in progress, failed or cancelled: you only see the refund once it has been completed.
  • Changes made by the organizer to the holder’s details.

Rules and limits

  • Cancellations of a reservation are ordered by the organizer or by Nightify; refunds are carried out only by Nightify staff, at the organizer’s request.
  • If you see an entry you don’t recognise, write to support from the Contacts page with the reservation code.
