How and when refunds are issued

The refund is carried out by Nightify staff at the organizer’s instruction, credited to the same payment method and recorded in the Reservation history as Refund completed. When it is due, the refund requires no forms: it is instructed by the organizer, carried out by Nightify staff through the payment provider and credited to the same method used for the purchase. In your account you recognise it from the Refund completed entry in the history.

The stages, step by step

  1. Instruction. The organizer asks Nightify for the refund (for example after a cancellation). You do not receive an automatic notice at this stage.
  2. Execution. Nightify staff carry out the refund on the original payment, for the whole order or for individual tickets.
  3. Recording. In the Reservation history on the website, Refund completed appears with Amount: … and, where present, Reservation items: … (the tickets concerned) and Nightify fees excluded from the refund: …. When all the tickets are refunded, the reservation status becomes Refunded and the QR codes are deactivated; with a partial refund only the refunded tickets are deactivated.
  4. Credit. The amount goes back to the card, PayPal account or wallet used to pay; how long it takes to appear depends on the bank or card scheme.

Rules

  • The refund always goes to the original method: it cannot be received on another card or on an IBAN.
  • The maximum refundable amount is the ticket price plus pre-sale rights; Nightify service fees remain excluded.
  • A ticket sold through resale is not refunded to the seller.
  • Nightify does not send an automatic e-mail for the refund: check the history or your bank statement.

What you do not see in your account

  • Refunds that are being processed, failed or cancelled do not appear in the history: you only see the refund once it has been carried out.
  • The Administrative review required note indicates an operation under manual review: wait for support to contact you.
