The waiting list is free and tied to a single sold-out ticket type. It does not reserve a ticket and does not create a queue with turns: when availability returns, everyone on the list receives the same alert and the ticket goes to whoever completes the purchase first, at the official price.
At a glance
- Where you join: from the sold-out ticket type with the Waiting list badge, in the reservation screen (website) or in the Tickets section of the event detail (app).
- What you need: an account you are logged in to.
- Quantity: each registration counts as 1 ticket; if you join again, the recorded quantity increases by 1.
- What you receive: straight away the Sei nella lista d’attesa (you are on the waiting list) e-mail; when availability returns, the I biglietti sono disponibili (tickets are available) e-mail with the COMPRA I BIGLIETTI (buy the tickets) button.
- What it does not do: it does not reserve the ticket, it has no priority order and it cannot be cancelled from your account.
The process
- You join from the sold-out ticket type (see Join the waiting list of a sold-out event). Confirmation: You are on the waiting list. We will notify you if this access type becomes available. and the Sei nella lista d’attesa e-mail with the DETTAGLI SULLA LISTA D’ATTESA (waiting list details) block (Evento (event), Data (date), Tipo di biglietto (ticket type), Quantità (quantity)) and the Più informazioni (more information) button.
- Wait. The alert goes out when the organizer updates the event and brings availability back to that ticket type (for example by adding seats or reopening sales). A ticket put back in circulation by another user or an expired reservation does not trigger the alert: in those cases it is worth checking the event page again.
- Receive the alert. The I biglietti sono disponibili e-mail shows 1 biglietto disponibile ora (1 ticket available now), Fino a N biglietti disponibili ora (up to N tickets available now) or Disponibilità aperta ora (availability open now), reminds you that La disponibilità non è riservata: apri la pagina e completa l’acquisto prima che termini. (availability is not reserved: open the page and complete the purchase before it runs out) and closes with Se i biglietti finiscono prima del checkout, potrai rientrare in lista d’attesa dall’app o dal sito. (if the tickets run out before checkout, you can rejoin the waiting list from the app or the website).
- Buy. COMPRA I BIGLIETTI reopens your reservation with the available ticket type (link valid for 24 hours) or the event page; from there you complete the normal purchase with 15 minutes to pay.
Rules and limits
- The list only appears if the organizer has enabled it for that ticket type (for events with more than 5,000 seats it is enabled automatically), the ticket type is sold out for your channel too, the event is published and not cancelled, and sales are neither closed nor still to open.
- It does not guarantee a ticket: it depends on availability returning and on how quickly you complete the purchase.
- You receive at most one alert every 30 minutes for the same registration.
- The waiting list e-mail is a mandatory communication: it arrives even if you have turned off promotional or reservation e-mails.
- Price, fees and conditions are those of the event, identical to a normal purchase.
Tips
- Save a card in Saved cards and keep the app installed: when the alert arrives, time matters.
- Search for “I biglietti sono disponibili” in your inbox and check the spam folder in the days before the event.
