Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson bring the Fifty Something Tour to Milan’s Unipol Dome on Tuesday 30 March 2027, the only Italian date: two sets per show, with Anika Nilles on drums and Loren Gold on keyboards. Presales from 24 February, general sale on Friday 27 February at 10:00.

For progressive rock fans it is the news of the year. Rush return to Italy twenty years after their last concert here: on Tuesday 30 March 2027 the Fifty Something Tour comes to the Unipol Dome in Milan, the new arena that hosted the ice hockey of the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Games. It is the only Italian date, organised by MC2 Live.

The tour

Geddy Lee (bass, keyboards, vocals) and Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals) celebrate more than 50 years of Rush music and pay tribute to the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. After 58 dates in 2026 across Canada, the United States and Mexico, the band announces 24 concerts in 13 countries across South America, the United Kingdom and Europe in early 2027: it is their first return to Europe since 2013. Milan comes between Kraków (27 March) and Basel (1 April).

The line-up and the show

  • Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the band’s founders.
  • Anika Nilles on drums: a German composer and producer, she has played with Jeff Beck at more than 60 concerts.
  • Loren Gold on keyboards, formerly with The Who and Roger Daltrey.

These are “An evening with” shows, with two different sets at every show and a setlist that changes, drawing on a catalogue of more than 40 songs, from big hits to fan favourites.
