The countdown to top-level tennis in Turin begins with a concert. On Thursday 12 November 2026, from 9 pm, Achille Lauro takes the lead role in the Grand Opening Show of the Nitto ATP Finals at the Inalpi Arena in Turin: an exclusive show that inaugurates the tournament week and turns the centre court into a stage.
The show
The announcement came at the end of July from the organizers, who chose one of the most recognizable artists in Italian music for the inaugural event. Achille Lauro brings to the Inalpi Arena a production designed for the occasion, in which music, image and sporting storytelling cross paths in front of the audience that officially opens the competition.
It is the same arena that from 15 to 22 November hosts the tournament with the season’s eight best singles players and eight best doubles pairs: the Grand Opening Show comes before the matches begin and is an event in its own right, with its own ticketing.
Why this event is not to be missed
It is not often that a tournament of this level opens with a full-blown concert, in an indoor arena that for one week becomes the centre of world tennis. For those who follow Achille Lauro it is the chance to see him in a setting outside the usual touring circuit; for those coming to Turin for the sport it is a way to step into Finals week a day early.
