Duel Club welcomes one of the defining figures of electronic music. On Saturday 28 March 2026 Sven Väth plays Duel Club in Naples for an event of pure techno, joined by Maurizio Schmitz.
The line-up
- Sven Väth: behind the decks since 1981, a pillar of global club culture and of the German techno revolution.
- Maurizio Schmitz: a DJ of deep and psychedelic selections, with a career that runs parallel to the history of German techno.
Who Sven Väth is
For more than forty years Sven Väth has spanned eras and generations while staying true to the dancefloor. From the Omen in Frankfurt to the Cocoon Club, and on to the historic Cocoon Ibiza residency, he has founded clubs and formats that shaped electronic music. His sets are famous for record bags full of surprises: as the club puts it, nobody really knows what will happen, not even him. Today he is still touring the world, from vinyl to digital.
Why this event is not to be missed
Duel is one of the landmarks of techno in Campania, and its March calendar confirms it: on 7 March it hosts Ellen Allien, and Paco Osuna has already been announced for April. But Väth’s date is the one to circle: a set built in the moment, in front of one of the most passionate communities in Italy.
