Italian audiences know him as Steve Harrington from Stranger Things, but at the end of August he will be on stage with his band. Djo, the music project of actor and musician Joe Keery, comes to Italy for the first time with two concerts promoted by D’Alessandro e Galli.
The dates
- Monday 24 August 2026: Rome, Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.
- Tuesday 25 August 2026: Milan, Parco della Musica di Milano (Segrate).
Who is Djo
Keery started releasing music as Djo in 2019 with Twenty Twenty. In 2024 the song End of Beginning, from the album Decide, became a global phenomenon thanks to social media, taking the project into charts around the world. His third album, The Crux, came out in 2025, preceded by the single Basic Being Basic: a record that looks back to the pop and psychedelic rock of the sixties and seventies. Live, the sound blends indie, electronica and psychedelic touches.
Why this event is not to be missed
It is the Italian debut of a project that has grown enormously over the last two years, in two open-air spaces designed for music. The Cavea in Rome is one of the city’s most striking summer arenas; the Parco della Musica di Milano is the open-air venue in Segrate that hosts Milan’s summer concerts.
