Bologna is getting ready for three days of electronic music and digital arts. The 17th edition of ROBOT Festival runs from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 October 2026 with a theme that captures the present: Syntax Error, the difficulty of interpreting an era in which codes, languages and references overlap.

- Thursday 8 October, Ex Ospedale dei Bastardini: Lawrence English with the Italian premiere of The Rest Is My Ghost, feeo, Suz & Giuseppe Franchellucci, Filibalou.
- Friday 9 October, DumBO and Ex Ospedale dei Bastardini: Blawan, Boys Noize, Mykki Blanco, Space Afrika, upsammy & Valentina Magaletti, Batu b2b CEM, Aho Ssan, Front de Cadeaux with Gabor.

The highlights
Saturday is the most anticipated day: Autechre, the duo that has been redefining the boundaries of electronic music for more than thirty years, share the programme with Moodymann, a Detroit house icon, and with the b2b between DJ Stingray and Mell G. Friday, on the other hand, is the day for anyone looking for a more physical club experience, with Boys Noize and Blawan.
The previews
The festival was preceded by two events: on 13 September at the Kainua Archaeological Park in Marzabotto with The Bug and Marta Salogni & Stefano Pilia, and on 25 September at Palazzo Re Enzo with Carla dal Forno, Ana Roxanne, Sam Ruffillo and other artists.
