Dionne Warwick è nata il 12 dicembre 1940 a East Orange. Ha fatto parte dei Gospelaires come membro originale e dei Drinkard Singers. Tra le sue pubblicazioni del 1963 figurano l’album Presenting Dionne Warwick e gli EP Anyone Who Had a Heart e Don’t Make Me Over. Nel 1964 sono usciti gli album Make Way for Dionne Warwick e Anyone Who Had a Heart; nel 1965 The Sensitive Sound of Dionne Warwick.

Tra le pubblicazioni successive compaiono Now: A Celebratory 50th Anniversary Album (2012), Feels So Good (2014), l’EP Tropical Love (2015) e l’album She’s Back (2019). Nello stesso anno è uscito Dionne Warwick & the Voices of Christmas. Nel 2022 ha pubblicato l’EP Fresh Takes.
