Dionne Warwick nació el 12 de diciembre de 1940 en East Orange. Fue miembro original de The Gospelaires y también formó parte de The Drinkard Singers. Entre sus publicaciones de 1963 figuran el álbum Presenting Dionne Warwick y los EP Anyone Who Had a Heart y Don’t Make Me Over. En 1964 aparecieron los álbumes Make Way for Dionne Warwick y Anyone Who Had a Heart; en 1965 se publicó The Sensitive Sound of Dionne Warwick.

Entre sus publicaciones posteriores están Now: A Celebratory 50th Anniversary Album (2012), Feels So Good (2014), el EP Tropical Love (2015) y el álbum She’s Back (2019). Ese mismo año se publicó Dionne Warwick & the Voices of Christmas. En 2022 publicó el EP Fresh Takes.
