Jacob Allen is a songwriter, producer and poet best known as Puma Blue. Death is nested as a sweet creature in the heart of Holy Waters, the long-awaited follow-up to In Praise of Shadows of 2021, out in autumn via Blue Flowers. A substantial leap into Jacob's art; extraordinary multitudes of pain and relief are spent in his writing, navigating in the spaces between pain and euphoria, and in the strange likeness between solitude and collectivity. In the eleven tracks, his voice is a vaporous tissue that delights in the most brilliant language, while retracing every path that has taken place in the hardest years of his life with a surprising sincerity, looking in blood injected eyes every face of pain.
