Information
At the crossroads of shadows and cold pulses, this evening pays tribute to two founding works of post-punk: **Unknown Pleasures** by **Joy Division** and **Pornography** by **The Cure**. Released in 1979, Unknown Pleasures imposes a stark, tense, almost spectral aesthetic, in which every bassline resonates like an anxious heartbeat. Three years later, Pornography pushes this darkness to its breaking point: a dense, suffocating work in which the sound seems to fold in on itself. On the stage of the Nouveau Casino, the Parisian quartet **The Funeral Warehouse** **performs both albums in their entirety**, respecting their intensity and atmosphere, before extending the experience with a performance of a **selection of essential tracks** by Joy Division and The Cure. A total immersion in the exploration of music's darkest corners, guided by the legacy of these two cult bands!
