The quartet, made up of Brenda Corjin on vocals, Siebe Chaud on guitar, Jolan Decaestecker on synthesizers and Bert Peyffers on percussion, has developed a unique and bold paw. Drawing on his Mozambican and Portuguese roots, Brenda Corjin navigates freely between Portuguese and English, carried by a warm and magnetic voice. On stage, Ão proposes a captivating experience that seduces audiences in the four corners of Europe. Their music, oscillating between fragile melodies and dancing rhythms, draws the listener into a captivating universe, at the border of the mystical. A winning bet that allows them to escape any label, like artists such as Stromae or Rosalía before them. Their latest album, Malandra, released February 13, 2026, illustrates the quartet's artistic maturity and affirms their taste for sound crossroads and musical explorations.
