The late-night series Tom-Tom Discotec invites the Cologne collective korsi to JAKI. At the second edition of SWANA Essential Sounds, a lot comes together once again: SWANA sounds, hip-hop, R&B and electronic club music – from Gheri to Raï. The DJs on the night: Shazadi b2b Rew, Ramin and Azlay. Between Bakur and Başûr, Shazadi and Rew stand behind the decks together. Their B2B moves between Kurdish, Arabic and other SWANA sounds that meet R'n'B, hip-hop and club music. Familiar melodies blend with driving beats, while themes such as identity, memory and resistance resonate throughout. Together they create a space for visibility, self-determination and collective energy on the dancefloor.
