Tenor Juan Diego Flórez, piano Vincenzo Scalera. Works by Mozart, Rossini, François-Adrien Boieldieu, Ruperto Chapí, Amadeo Vives, Agustín Pérez Soriano, Ernesto Lecuona, Massenet, Gounod, Benjamin Godard and Verdi. Before he takes the stage of the Opernhaus Zürich as Gounod's Roméo next season, Juan Diego Flórez can now be heard in one of his popular solo programs. Together with the pianist Vincenzo Scalera, the world-acclaimed tenor presents the full breadth of his repertoire. In the first half he demonstrates the incomparable brilliance of his voice with Mozart and Rossini; the second half becomes dramatic and passionate with Massenet, Verdi and selected zarzuela romances.
