Information
Developing at the forefront of the contemporary scene, Italian percussionist Valentina Magaletti and Dutch electronic musician upsammy bring forth in live performance Seismo, their first joint album, which crystallizes beautifully their two universes. Engaged in multiple projects, solo or in collaboration (notably within the group Vanishing Twin), Valentina Magaletti cultivates a plural rhythmic practice, resolutely adventurous and generous. A devotee of electronics freed from dogmas, upsammy expresses a thrilling creativity in her DJ sets as much as in her productions or her live performances. Always seeking new experiences, these two musicians had the happy idea of associating together to record an album, Seismo, published by the very refined Berlin label PAN. Combining acoustic and electronic, the result—of high precision—invites you to travel through dense and stirring sonic landscapes, with very innovative rhythms.
