Yumi Hara's Groove Study, an avant-rock trio composed of Chris Cutler and Toshiaki Sudoh, will perform at Cafe OTO in London on September 9. The group, formed by Yumi Hara, pianist and singer of Japanese origin, Chris Cutler, drummer of Henry Cow, and Toshiaki Sudoh, bassist of MELT-BANANA, combines memorable melodies and complex rhythms, fusing different world rhythms and medieval and Japanese modes.
