Information
The Unkompress Deep Dive series explores focused musical themes through vinyl listening sessions. Each Wednesday we spotlight a different sound, scene or label. Guests are encouraged to bring their own record, if they can match the theme, but not required. This edition we pay tribute and explore the berlin-based record label Habibi Funk and Arab music from 1970 to 1985. Think of it as a label tribute night with Arabic funk, psychedelic groove, cosmic rhythm, rare disco gems. Featuring music and album selections from anything from the label and adjacent records.
