Sundaughter, a four-piece, are a mercurial shoegaze band formed in Reading. Their melodies are a melange of dreamy textures with delicate Eastern influences. Their sound is both expansive and intimate, inspired by influences like Khruangbin, The Smiths and Angel Olsen, with shimmering guitars, ethereal vocals and a hypnotic atmosphere. Celeste Madden is a singer-songwriter celebrated for her eccentric and surreal musical style. Influenced by 90s rock and her passion for guitar reverb, her autobiographical songs explore deep emotions with a touch of humour. Baby Maker, from Oxford, selects and manipulates the carcasses of influences, creating a sound inspired by funk, new wave and playful observational poetry.
