First time at Salon des Amateurs, two artists from the Berlin-based label SUBVERTED – a queer record label and event series focusing on the darker genres of electronic music, from drone and noise to hypnotic and industrial techno – will put the venue from its head to its feet.This night serves as a high-energy infusion of dark and dense techno: CRANYA will deliver a live-set of his sophisticated broken beats, harsh textures, dark sequences and apocalyptic atmosphere: raw intensity of rhythmic textures and sharp beats.Tonight, probably the last ever DJ-set by SUBVERTED resident EVE SCHWARZ will unfold, before she sets out for an artistic redefinition: Industrial noise, combined with straight techno elements and distorted breaks, mixed with a good dose of unpredictability and experimental challenge.Supported by Salon resident MARC MATTER who has been influenced by SUBVERTED nights and music for his re-introduction of rhythmic noise and industrial techno to Salon's vast variety of musical styles.
