Alexandra Alden, the Maltaise-Anglaise singer and composer, will present a concert in Paris.His music evokes the sun's rays illuminating the dark recesses of a room - intimate and disarming, a sudden and warm revelation of what usually remains hidden.His songs create a fantasy and memorable universe, marked by his unique voice.These are sonic monologues: confessional indie-folk with the raw emotional intensity of Big Thief and Phoebe Bridgers, the literary delicacy of Sufjan Stevens, and the aching, imperceptible warmth of Nick Drake and Laura Marling.Alden's most recent album, 'When Is It Too Late?'(2025), was praised by OOR and Clash Magazine and considered his most complex work.The album is inspired by the liminal spaces of Edward Hopper, the poetic precision of Sylvia Plath and the free melancholy of The War on Drugs.The event will be held at Supersonic Records, a concert hall for people over the age of 16.
