Alex Zhang Hungtai, after finishing his project Dirty Beaches, has focused on improvisation, exploring his relationship with the unconscious through free jazz, composition, and sound experimentation.His recent works revolve around saxophone, percussion, and electronics, creating open pieces where intuitive and structural elements coexist.In parallel, he develops a solid career as a composer for soundtracks and collaborator in cinema.A practice in constant mutation, between radical improvisation and the construction of new sonic languages.
