Information
After being the singer of the Sex Pistols, John Lydon founded Public Image Ltd (PiL), a pioneering post-punk group. Widely regarded as one of the most innovative groups of all time, their music and vision earned them 5 singles and 5 albums ranked in the British Top 20. With an ever-changing lineup and a unique sound – a fusion of rock, dance, folk, pop and dub – Lydon led the band from their first album "First Issue" in 1978 to "That What Is Not" in 1992, before a 17-year break. Lydon reactivated PiL in 2009, leading tours and releasing three critically acclaimed albums: "This is PiL" in 2012, followed by "What The World Needs Now..." in 2015 and "End of the World" in 2023. PiL continues to push boundaries and thrive.
