A double appointment with Angharad Davies and Werner Dafeldecker, renowned internationally recognized violinist and double bass player, together with Franz Hautzinger and Burkhard Stangl, jazz duo and twelve-tone series.The duo explores the acoustic potential of their instruments, employing extended instrumental techniques in conjunction with a deliberate reduction in sonic vocabulary.The second duo on stage is formed by Franz Hautzinger (quarter tone trumpet, electronics) and Burkhard Stangl (electric guitar, electronics).Experts in jazz as well as twelve-tone series, the duo chose the apparent contrast of the oxymoron as a source of inspiration to express what is barely articulated or even unspeakable in a pair of opposites.Both concerts have the support of the Austrian Culture Forum in Milan.
