The first day of Videocittà 2026 opens the festival with a great immersive journey dedicated to water, between digital art, AV music, monumental installations and virtual reality in the spaces of the Gazometro Ostiense.Among the most anticipated events, "Nature's Computility" by Chinese artist Cao Yuxi arrives in Rome for the first time, a spectacular immersive installation created in collaboration with eFM inside the new Opificio 60 Nord, a new space for the festival.The evening continues with a journey through interactive and immersive works signed by international artists such as Lake Heckaman and Giuseppe La Spada, virtual reality experiences, live AV and widespread installations that transform the Gazometro into a unique audiovisual ecosystem.On the Main Stage, the festival comes alive with the live AV by Sara Persico & Mika Oki, until reaching the grand finale with the AV DJ set by MACE, one of the most influential producers on the contemporary Italian scene, protagonist of a performance that combines electronic music, visual design and industrial architecture.The day is completed by talks, video art, live performances, educational projects by NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti and IED Istituto Europeo di Design, as well as new productions developed within the European CO-VISION project.
