On Sunday 28 June, Laura Masotto closes Polysonica 2026 in a church in Palestrina, forty kilometers from Rome.The last night, the one in which an evening that begins in the garden at sunset ends with a violin resonating in the naves of a sixteenth-century church.Laura Masotto is a violinist and composer.He has built his sound layer by layer, from classical training to post-rock, from violin to analog pedals, to synthesizers, to singing bowls, without anything sounding like an experiment.A music that never separates beauty from tension, and which has found resonance everywhere: The Spirit of Things (7K!, 2024) was reviewed by The Wire and Electronic Sound and taken on tour throughout Europe, in venues such as Silent Green in Berlin and TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.Notturno, his new album, arrives in 2026.From 6.00pm, the Sound Garden, adapted in the convent adjacent to the Church, opens with audio / video installations, listening sessions in headphones, DJ sets, bar and food areas.The Sound Garden has free entry and without reservation.From 9.00pm the church opens for concerts which start between 9.30pm and 9.45pm.
