On Thursday 25 June, A Bad Day opens Polysonica 2026 in the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate in Palestrina, forty kilometers south of Rome.The convent church is the space that changes how music sounds, the silence between one note and another, the way sound moves in the air, the distance between the player and the listener.A stage that A Bad Day will occupy with just two guitars and no safety net.A Bad Day was born from the meeting on the Massimo Volume stage between Egle Sommacal, the band's historic guitarist, and Sara Ardizzoni, also active with the solo project Dagger Moth and with collaborations ranging from Marc Ribot to Mats Gustafsson.The basic choice is radical: no loops, no samples, no computers.Two guitars, some pedals, and the awareness that every concert will be different from the previous one.Flawed, their debut album, starts from a simple idea: technical perfection is not the goal, it's the limit.Every imperfection is part of the sound, not a flaw to be corrected.From 6.00 pm, the Sound Garden, set up in the convent adjacent to the Church, opens with audio / video installations, listening sessions in headphones, DJ sets, bar and food areas.The Sound Garden has free entry and without reservation.The church opens from 9pm for concerts which will begin between 9.30pm and 9.45pm.
