A rock band in the form of a classical quartet with Ambra Chiara Michelangeli, Francesco Diodati, Francesco Guerri and Stefano Calderano.The all-string project (two electric guitars with effects instead of violins, cello and viola) is a stimulating and demanding listening experience.A shape-shifting journey, which requires the listener to take into consideration the silences and rustles as much as the notes emitted.In fact, the project reaches its immersive peak live, where we can truly hear the different sounding boards talking to each other: the electricity of the guitars inserts itself and explodes into the soundholes of the acoustic instruments, the frequencies of the latter being picked up by the magnetic pick ups for an audio signal to be sent directly into the abyss of a distant galaxy.Pure avant-garde.The group presents "La lucha es un poema colectivo", an album conceived and composed during a long artistic residency at IRCAM in Paris in November 2023 and published by Superpang.An album conceptually influenced by being "in the middle of protests and strikes by workers at the Center Georges Pompidou. They were demanding respect for their rights. Entering that place from outside, making art while hundreds of people outside risked losing their jobs, was disorienting.
