It's a field of possibilities. Lucrecia Dalt brings a writing that moves between song and abstraction: rhythms that emerge and dissolve, voice treated as matter, structures that transform as you traverse them. An intimate but unstable sound, working on the border between emotion and construction. Matmos starts from what is normally not music, objects, surfaces, physical processes and transforms them into composition. Radical sampling, rhythmic construction, performance: the result is both rigorous, ironic and surprisingly physical. Two different approaches, same tension: redefining what it means to listen.
