**Comes to Parma Ed Harcourt thanks to PMA production by Cesare Carugi.** Born in 1977, grew up in East Sussex in the years after Elvis's death and in the early days of punk, Ed Harcourt became over the years an elegant, appreciated gentleman with a reputation of the utmost respect. An eclectic singer-songwriter and sophisticated composer, he was nominated for the Mercury Prize at 24 years old for his debut album "Here Be Monsters", produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters, Counting Crows), went on tour with Wilco, R.E.M., Snow Patrol and Afghan Whigs, performed with Patti Smith, Marianne Faithfull, Lana Del Rey, Mark Lanegan and Nick Cave, and has counted among his fans artists like Lisa Marie Presley, Flood and Jamie Cullum. His experimental spirit has led him to alternate albums of excellent workmanship such as "From Every Sphere" and "The Beautiful Lie" with instrumental cinematic compositions ("Beyond the Eye" and "Monochrome to Colour") and soundtracks ("S. Darko", sequel to "Donnie Darko"), up to the publication of two albums in just under two years, the splendid "El Magnifico" of 2024 and "Orphic" of 2025, works that have brought him back into the spotlight for their extremely high compositional quality and elegance. "Orphic", released in November 2025, is a small masterpiece with wintery tones, intimate and epic at the same time, born from cinematic inspirations such as "Orphee" by Jean Cocteau and David Lynch's cinema.
