In the wake of Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025, Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sport of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region and GECT GO promote STORIES OF BORDER. THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF DIALOGUE. From a conception of border as a physical, geographical or social limit, to one of "gateway" for new dynamics of creativity, growth, coexistence, social sustainability, that recognize the complex memories that characterize border identities. This is the thematic core of an itinerant cycle of encounters with prominent international guests scheduled in Gorizia, Pordenone, Udine and Trieste between February and May, and of an international journalistic award for the recognition of 4 journalistic reports that can grasp in the cross-border relationship an opportunity for growth, inclusion, innovation. The fourth meeting, in Trieste, is dedicated to the theme of the Economic Border which opens to a twofold reading: on one hand as a place of transfer of innovations and technologies between countries and territories, on the other as a place of economic migrations. This border represents the flow of ideas, resources and people in search of opportunities, but also of challenges that can promote the inclusion and sustainability of the economic system.
