Information
**Steven Brown**, founder of **Tuxedomoon**, returns to Italy to present live his new album **In This Very World** (**Crammed Discs)**, as well as some songs from the repertoire of the historic San Francisco band and his previous solo albums. Born in Chicago, Steven Brown moved to San Francisco in the '70s where he co-founded Tuxedomoon in 1977. The band, later moving to Brussels, became one of the most influential of the 1980s thanks to an innovative style that blends post-punk, electronics, jazz and avant-garde music, also integrating visual arts. In parallel, Brown develops a prolific solo career, with over 20 albums and various projects (such as Nine Rain and Ensemble Kafka), especially after moving to Mexico in 1993. He also composes music for cinema, theater and dance, collaborating with important directors and choreographers, and receiving awards such as an Ariel nomination. The new album In This Very World is characterized by poetic songs and evocative instrumental pieces, between experimental jazz and neoclassical forms, in which the artist reaffirms his vocation as a poetic singer-songwriter, timeless but deeply rooted and active in his musical, political and geographical path. Formation: Steven Brown (Tuxedomoon) – vocals, electric piano, sax, clarinet, tapes Luc van Lieshout (Tuxedomoon) – trumpet, harmonica Lucien Fraipont (Aksak Maboul) – guitar **ARCI MEMBERSHIP CARD IS MANDATORY // TESSERA ARCI OBBLIGATORIA**
