Between bold lyrics and courageous production, the album fuses trip-hop, dub techno, jungle and experimental electronics. The first single, Desire, born from a raw hotel recording, inspired the entire sound of the album, characterized by crude and visceral sounds that blend with dreamlike atmospheres. Recorded live at the Real World studios with co-producer Sam Petts-Davies, Croak Dream is born from improvisations of the band transformed into loops, creating a living and surprising album. After the success of Holy Waters (2023) and the experimental works antichamber and extchamber, this album represents a bold evolution for Puma Blue, between introspection and creative courage, with intense emotional tension that alternates intimate moments with bursts of energy.
