Information
Scarda is the diminutive of a surname: Scardamaglio Domenico, known as Nico, born in 1986, Calabrese by long adoption, born in Naples but currently based in Rome. His first musical ventures began in 2012 with home-recorded songs, voice and guitar, posted on YouTube, which immediately created word of mouth and which within a few months gave him the opportunity to write a song for the soundtrack of the film Smetto Quando Voglio for which he will receive a nomination for the David di Donatello. Only in December 2014 did the real discographic debut take place: I piedi sul Cruscotto, an album of pure singer-songwriter that made people talk, that involved more and more listeners over the months and many concerts around the country. It was with the second album Tormentone published in October 2018 that the audience expanded considerably, with songs that became viral and a supporting tour that increasingly filled Italian live clubs registering several sellouts. After a period of stop due to the Covid pandemic, out in June 2021 Bomboniere, a much more pop album than the previous one followed by a successful club tour and festivals throughout Italy registering excellent numbers. After a period of hiatus begins a new path with the singles One important thing, Paolo and Francis and Scar.
