The store stands out for its particularly careful curation, with a stock that blends new arrivals from international and Italian-Italian independent labels with a wide selection of sought-after used material, appreciated by DJs, collectors, and producers. Ultrasuoni quickly became a landmark for the Roman and Italian electronic scene, also serving as a meeting hub for artists, labels, buyers, and enthusiasts, helping to promote productions often far removed from mainstream circuits. The venue is regularly cited by international artists and specialized media as an emblematic site of record store culture dedicated to electronic music, embedded in the city’s cultural and nightlife fabric.
