His work has emerged as a call and response between the tender, dynamic sounds of black music across history and the surreal reality of contemporary, vulnerable black life – a haunting dialogue. For the past 4 years, he has cemented himself as a reliable cultural producer of the black extraordinary and collaborated with vanguards of the Northern experimental scene such as Space Afrika, 96 Back, FUMU, Iceboy Violet, Swing Ting and Porter Brook. These collaborations and provocations are woven into a larger artistic vision: ‘the Black Impossible trilogy’. Through music, films, live events, installation and research, LINTD speculate worlds where the marginalised feel comfortable to be their full, emancipated selves.
