White Rice: the first course that a person only orders when they are sick, served in the hospital as a gourmet dish. White Rice is a stand-up comedy show that takes the audience on a journey through the most hilarious and embarrassing personal experiences of Marcello Pastore. In this monologue, with an ironic and self-deprecating style, between the fear of becoming a father and that of being a yes man instead, the comedian takes us to discover his adventures (and misadventures) as a young thirty-something. Through a series of funny anecdotes and sarcastic observations. It would seem like a list of ingredients for the perfect recipe, instead it's just the seasoning of everyday life. Because we are all born as White Rice but then life takes care of seasoning us at its pleasure. Marcello Pastore was born in San Daniele del Friuli from a Ciociara mother, police father. He takes his first steps in the world of entertainment at an early age, covering important roles such as: the carpet of Aladdin and the tomb in the Via Crucis. At 18 he decides not to undertake military life. But, despite the differences, he inherited a family passion: he too looks for drug dealers, but for other reasons. He began his journey of study on comedy in Rome, then engaged in the sacred art of Stand-up, moving between the various Italian cities, participates in the Zelig workshop and takes part in an episode of "Home Restaurant", the television program of chef Giorgio Locatelli. Today he lives in Pisa and is part of the La Locura collective. He participates in the third edition of the Openmic Tour of Comedy Central 2024/2025. He has numerous openings to comedians such as Francesco De Carlo, Giorgio Montanini, Daniele Fabbri, Pietro Sparacino, Mauro Fratini.
