Vansire is a duo originally from Minnesota, made up of Josh Augustin and Sam Winemiller. They met on drumline and have made music together since high school. They continued making music through college and, according to their biography, have since graduated.

Vansire writes and records all of its songs in home spaces, including basements, living rooms, and bedrooms. Sam’s brother, Isaac Winemiller, also contributes to tracks by playing bass. The photographs are by Kate Ali.
