ARTISTThe Hunger

The Hunger is an industrial rock band from Houston, founded by brothers Jeff and Thomas Wilson. In 2023, the founding members returned to their roots after signing with Wake Up Music Rocks, a division of Wake Up Music Group. The lineup also includes Jeff Smith on guitar and Alex Slay on drums.

The group released Bloodlines, its eighth studio album and its first for Wake Up Music Rocks. Produced by Christopher Hall, the ten-song album combines electronics and melodies. “Tears to Cry,” the first song released from the project, features personal lyrics by Jeff Wilson, which he said were inspired by his drug-rattled years and a difficult relationship. The album also includes a reinvention of Concrete Blonde’s “Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)” and a remix of “Vanishing Cream,” from the 1996 album “The Devil Thumbs a Ride.”
