ARTISTSAVE US

SAVE US is a transcontinental trio comprising Miguel Owls on vocals, Chris Biddiscombe on guitar, and Benji Havercroft on drums. Having experienced music’s revelatory power firsthand, the members channel it into an energetic burst of emotional, entrancing alternative metal with pop appeal. In 2023, Miguel, from California’s Central Valley, regularly posted covers on social media and quietly built an online following. Bristol, UK-based Chris came across one of Miguel’s Architects covers and messaged him on TikTok. They clicked quickly and began making music despite being more than 5,000 miles apart. Before meeting in person, they recorded several tracks remotely. Miguel worked a factory job from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and typically woke at 5 a.m. to write with Chris and Benji before work.

Miguel eventually crossed the ocean to shoot the visual for “Distance,” which appeared on the LUCID EP. The track passed 2.6 million Spotify streams. The group continued with the 2024 EP EXIST. The following year, they signed with Solid State and went to Michigan to record with producer Landon Tewers. The trio’s debut LP is Death To Something [Solid State].
