Ryokuoushoku Shakai is a four-member band from Aichi Prefecture, also known by the nickname Ryokushaka. Formed in 2012, the group brings together high school classmates Nagaya Haruko, Kobayashi Issei, and peppe, along with Anami Shingo, Kobayashi’s childhood friend. Nagaya sings and plays guitar, Kobayashi plays guitar, peppe plays keyboards, and Anami plays bass.

Among the band’s songs, “Mela!” (2020) has reached 500 million streams, while “花になって” (2023) has surpassed 300 million. “Shout Baby” (2020), “キャラクター” (2022), and “サマータイムシンデレラ” (2023) have each exceeded 100 million streams. The band performed its first concert at Nippon Budokan in 2022, held an arena tour from 2023 to 2024, and completed its first Asia tour in 2025. Nagaya’s clear, powerful voice is paired with a varied musical palette shaped by songwriting contributions from all four members, whose personalities and musical roots differ.
