ARTISTPost Malone

Post Malone is an American artist whose music bridges rap and mainstream pop. Within five years of his debut, he moved from an underground genre novelty to an established star, earning a run of Top Ten singles. His style combines a distinctive vocal delivery, pained lyrics and hip-hop production influenced by both Tim McGraw and Kanye West.

After the 2015 release of White Iverson, a quintuple-platinum single from his debut album Stoney, he quickly reached the top of the pop mainstream in the latter half of the 2010s. His multi-platinum hits include Rockstar with 21 Savage and Psycho with Ty Dolla $ign, from the 2018 Grammy-nominated album Beerbongs & Bentleys. Sunflower, with Swae Lee, appears on 2019's Hollywood's Bleeding and was described as one of the highest-certified singles in RIAA history. Following the more vulnerable tone of 2022's Twelve Carat Toothache, he made a further move toward guitar-based pop with 2023's Austin.
