Oakwood formed in Midland/Odessa, Texas, in 2013, with Mat, TJ, and Noah. The trio later relocated to Austin, Texas. More than a decade after the release of the “Summer” EP, Oakwood announced a new record, “Blurred Away,” scheduled for release on May 29 through Memory Music. The album features the recently released singles “Footnote” and “A Tangled Mess.” Recording was handled by Phillip Odom, and mastering by Will Yip, a Grammy Award-winning producer.
