ARTISTMYTH & ROID

MYTH & ROID is a Japanese artist whose international sound pairs sharp, catchy melodies with commanding vocal performances. Since its major debut in 2015, the project has provided theme songs for several hit anime series, and its music videos and related content have accumulated more than 150 million views. Centered on the theme “Extremes of Emotion,” MYTH & ROID explores universal human feelings through music, visuals, and other creative elements, beyond cultural and generational boundaries. The project has received international praise and has performed live in more than 20 countries.

In 2016, the singles STYX HELIX and Paradisus-Paradoxum successively reached number one on the iTunes Store Japan overall chart. The music video for TIT FOR TAT, released in 2019, surpassed five million views in about a year. In 2020, MYTH & ROID released its first digital album, Future is Mine, and made its music available through subscription services. The album reached number one on the iTunes Store Norway anime top albums chart and placed in the top 10 in New Zealand, Macau, the United Kingdom, Italy, and other countries. The name MYTH & ROID combines “Myth,” suggestive of the past, with “Android,” suggestive of the future.
